A Maths Test gone well.......

Hii all...
Well had my maths minor today. The tensions were pretty high before the exam .The exam was scheduled to begin at 2:30 Pm in the afternoon so I had a lot of free time in which we had a lot of fun.We did study for some 2 hours in between sitting in an A/C ROOM in the D-block. Although everyone knew beforehand what was to be there in the paper since the teacher just gives us a set of 50 questions in the form oh TUTORIALS to prepare out of which 6 were to be asked, but I know people who really messed up the paper. But anyways all I know is my paper went of really well so I don't care about others as long as they are not my friends.
Also in the between around 10:30 Am my friends Karan,Naina,Isha made me run to the hostel to fetch the laptop because they needed it to practice their presentation but I really don't mind running to the hostel even 20 times for friends like them.

I have chemistry up next and that is tomorrow and I am yet to begin my preparations for that exam so it's SAYONARA.

Studies and friends.....boredom and enjoyment

Hi all..
Today was a pretty study filled day with moments of enjoyment squeezed in between. Since I was up in my study table till 5:30 AM this morning so I planned to sleep till 10-10:30 but unfortunately a call from Karan woke me up at 8:30 and I had to attend the English class. Fortunately the teacher did not teach anything and let us go in just 20 mins. I straight away went to the D-block stairs and started completing my chemistry notes which I was making for myself since last night.Soon all my friends joined me and we were studying seriously for the first time since joining AIT. But it was 1 enjoyable experience with the wind blowing and all of us sitting quietly busy with our work and jokes on each other at regular intervals. Then we realised that had we been serious all through we would have topped pretty easily but these things are now just meaningless to say the least. We were on the stairs for consecutive 5 periods and munching chips with cold drinks really made the time pass pretty easily with our efficiencies really high. The computer class passed of pretty quickly and so did the day. Today agian I taught some of my freinds.
Another day went by and the minors have got closer. But really the life here shows extremes. Some days are really enjoyable and some are boring and some just pass by too quickly and before you know a new day would have begun. But the college seems to have changed since the friend circle has started getting bigger and bigger. Now seldom you have to roam about alone aimlessly looking for someone to talk to. You will now find someone or the other free. The worst part is all my good friends except for 3-4 are in different universities, but instead of cribbing about that we just want to enjoy the time we have on our hands before we all go to the US in August 2010. I know the day is still pretty far off but you won't even know that when 2010 has arrived since time just flys by.
Anyways I gotta study hard for History and that to American History since I have it on Monday so it's SAYONARA.

Today I got the 200th unique visitor on my blog. I am really happyand thank all the readers for their support.

Studies,Minors and a result....

Hii alll....
Was not able to write yesterday because the server was down. Anyways today was just another day and nothing special really happened. Nothing new.It was just the same old story. I had studied till 3 in the morning so woke up bleary eyed for my maths class and the teacher is such that she can make you sleep even if you feel very very fresh so you can imagine in what position I was in during the class.I also got the result of my second maths quiz . The result was pretty unsatisfying because I made some really silly blunders, which were unacceptable. I wanted to flunk the second class that was computers but then finally decided against it since teacher had to cover an important topic. The best class of the day really was English.Since the teacher had some work so as soon as she entered the class she took the attendance and let us go. I wanted to enjoy but Karan wanted me to teach him maths so while sitting on the D-Block stairs I taught him for 80-90 minutes. The chemistry class was again pretty booooooring as the teacher was teaching Periodic Table(My personal HATE favourite). I also gave the basketball trials for our team but selection possibilities look pretty bleak since I played horribly.
The tensions are rising pretty fast now since with each passing day the minors are getting nearer and nearer and all of us in the hostel have become serious. No more masti ,no more basketball, no more CS at least for me.
The attendance are approaching and I really got to study hard to do well in my minors so it's SAYONARA.

Of boredom,a test and some fun....

Hii.. So wats up on your side guys??Nothing much is up here.Just the same old life really with a bit of spice for sure. I really have started enjoying the day time. Increasing number of friends have really you know kind of made the days enjoyable. BUT today was a pretty boring day. I mean I enjoyed but pretty much less than the normal days. The morning started quite lazily and I as usual bunked the history class for a valid reason today.I had to teach my friend Maths so went to the library to teach him. I had scored 16/20(highest,that is a different thing that half the class has those marks since we had turned that test into an open book test because the teacher was absent :P) in the last History test as 1 of my friend told me. The English class passed of pretty easily and then came the boooooooring time. I knew I had a test in the chemistry class but did not study even 1 single bit. So when the test was on most of us were looking at each others faces, but me and my friend Karan were not like that. Cheated 1 question from the copy and did 5 out of the 7 by myself. So the test went of pretty well but 1 question is definitely wrong so won't get full marks. The day passed of soon and Karan treated us with ice-creams. After snacks I straight away went to sleep and woke up at 8 to again go down for dinner. Attendance were at 9:30 so in the meantime I chatted to some of my friends. Now I got to study for my minors so it's SAYONARA.

A tiring day really.....Basketball,more basketball and some more Basketball

Hi friends... I am pretty tired right now.I want to sleep now but the fucking attendance at 9:30 are really pissing me off. Well today was another normal day at college.Met my friends in the morning chatted with them and attended all the classes. The day was over pretty fast. In between i played basketball for around 80 odd mins. But the real thing was yet to come.As soon as I took my snacks at 4:50 I went straight to the basketball court again and played for 3 hours continuously, and this has really made my legs ache badly.I barely managed to take a shower and dress up and go down again for dinner. So I am not in a position to tell you anything more because I may drop off any moment. So it's SAYONARA.

A Week to remember-Week 5

Well I don't think I would have to write tooo much about week 5 since already I told you much about birthday bashes, rains some more rains and some more rains,a nasty fall and a rocking Saturday. The weather this week was pretty pleasant and romantic to say the least. Clouds hovering above our heads all the time made the temperature fall to a very very bearable level and and the nice wind that kept blowing the whole week made it all the more enjoyable.
Well I gotta get up early tomorrow for college so SAYONARA.

A day well spent......

Hi all I am in a pretty good mood today albeit a bit tired from all the masti we did today. Me and my gang of friends had a real gala time today. The day began with complete chaos in the Maths class as the teacher had planned a quiz for today and fortunately she was absent. So we all decided to get out and enjoy but UNFORTUNATELY she was smart enough to send some other teacher to take the quiz which was pretty easy but I made some pretty idiotic blunders and won't get full marks :( . But to really compensate for that disappointment we decided to go on an outing. Two of my friends had a car so first of all we went to the bowling alley in a mall and really had fun there. I began well then it was one gutter ball after the other since none of us had did it before but I am sure next time I will perform much better ;) .

We roamed around in the mall for some time before our stomachs gave us signs that we needed to fill it up. We decided to go to a roadside dhaba for having our fills. We stopped in between for a photo session where we clicked a lot of pics and enjoyed like hell.

While sitting at the dhaba we were just enjoying life the way it is meant to be when you are at college. We wanted to have some desi food yaar. Everyday pizzas and burgers . We were just fed up of it. In the end when we drenched each other with water and it looked as if we had another bath but with clothes on. Today was the day when al of us really felt that YES WE WERE IN COLLEGE.

Really man this has been the best I ever had at AIT and such days are 1's which I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life . SAYONARA for now.

Some Rains and a Nasty Fall

Hii all.......
Writing again from the comfort of my hostel room. Well well today was another very very wet day here in Gurgaon. But but we enjoyed a lot today roaming around and our college being in the foothills of the Aravalis' the weather becomes so pleasant and the wind blows that you would rather sit in the ground than attend your classes and that's what I did today.Missed my computer class and enjoyed the rains and played basketball. Now coming to the nasty fall I had in the basketball court .I ended up with a bruised shoulder which is aching even now and a cut near my eye but I still continued playing :) . The day ended with a treat sposered by one of my friend Anshul who treated us with Ice-Creams.I have a test tomorrow I have to prepare for it now so it's SAYONARA.

Of birthdays and parties...

Hi all finally I'm able to access net from the comfort of my hostel room so probably now i will be able to update my blog regularly. So today was a pretty event full day.First of all it was the birthday of two of my friends at AIT Naina and Deepak.I wish them both a very very happy and an enjoyable birthday.
We celebrated Deepak's birthday at 12:00 AM today in the hostel. We had planned a surprise party for him and bought a cake, some cold drinks and snacks for us to enjoy the small party we had for him. The problem now crept in.Being the dead of the night we were dancing in his room and songs were playing on full volume which attracted the attention of the hostel guards and we nearly escaped being punished for having a bash, but these little adventures are the 1's that separate hostel life from normal life.

Now coming to the second birthday that of Naina which again turned out to be a bit o a disaster. Our group of friends planned to miss the chemistry class and go to a bowling alley in one of Gurgaons' popular malls. The problem was being Tuesday they were all closed and we were unaware of he fact.So we went to the mall in pretty high hopes but were left high and dry so we went to McD and had our fill(Sponsored by the birthday girl) and came back before the chemistry class was about to begin and that is a different thing that I slept through the class and the only thing I know was that the teacher was teaching QUANTUM NUMBERS.

After college the time passed as usual playing basketball and right now I am gearing up for my next CS session so SAYONARA .

4 weeks go by......

Hi all writing after a long long time. 4 weeks have gone by since the college started and whew what a week it has been i.e week 4. Told you about a friend having a break down but probably it was my turn now.Tuesday night while lying on the hostel bed tears rolled out of my eyes because somewhere in my heart I knew that I do not belong to this place. It took a lot of self-counseling to tell myself that whatever happens happens for the best. After that I have been pretty OK and enjoyed like hell with friends. I changed my outlook towards the college and suddenly I found it a little bit more enjoyable. Got the result of my first maths quiz and it was a pretty satisfying result(the test was as simple as 1+1=2). As for the life in the hostel it ROCKS.
Time just flys by while playing basketball with friends and Counter Strike on LAN. My friends here are just rocking. All of them are so helping and friendly that time just goes by(REALLY how do u spend 3-3.5 hrs sitting and doing nothing in a stupid cafeteria) when you are with them. I will upload some of our pics soon. Till then itz SAYONARA

3 weeks later.....

3 weeks later I realise that tooo much fun is injurious to your mood. Here at I just have a little bit of classes and and lots and lots and lots of fun which has now really turned me off so much I needed to take a holiday today from the college. Moreover the campus is also not a 1000 acre beauty so that you can keep on exploring it for days .It is just a 15 acre campus which I have walked around N number of times. Just 3 cafe's really limit your choice as in where you want to sit in your long free periods. Can you imagine 1 of my friend broke down just because he was not able to adjust to the environment of this college. You can obviously pay a visit to the malls around you or go for movies but doing that everyday may just burn a big hole in your pocket.

I have 25 lectures a week but I know people who have just 15,hats off to them for how can they stand this much of free time. I mean I am bored of being free yaar.

The hostel life is just rocking. You can have as much fun as you want to but then you really have to draw a line that where you want to stop and study.

All said I would still say AIT rocks for it gives you an excellent gateway to the US. You can have fun but you will have to draw a line or you will get bored. There are a lot of other activities around like theater workshops for personality development and if you still want something then you can turn to the old and trusted basketball court or pay a visit to the gym(is it really a gym ;))
We also have inter-hostel sports tournaments for cricket, basketball, football etc so we are never short of activities and say that "the hostel is boring".
